She began her writing journey after a thirty year career at the Dallas Independent School District and retiring as Executive Director of Academic Services. Mrs. Berry lives in Desoto with her husband of 40 years, Bernard, and their German shepherd, Strawberry Sundae. Their son, Stephen, daughter-in-law Jewel, and grand puppies Peanut Brittle and Sadie live nearby.
