Earl Robinson always did things to please others, even if the choices meant he would be unhappy in life. Since he was a child, he never made a decision of his own. Now, at 46, he's wondering if he's living the life he always wanted, or is there something more out there. Even his boss thinks he needs to start putting himself out there and be more outgoing instead of locking himself in his office all day.

One morning, Earl wakes up and finds himself aboard Forgotten Destination, a train he doesn't remember getting on. He soon finds out from Melissa, the woman sitting next to him on the train, that Forgotten Destination isn't your ordinary train. Earl doesn't know what she means by that statement, but soon finds out once the train starts making interesting stops for him alone. Earl soon discovers what Melissa meant about this not being your regular train.

Earl wants to get off this train, but it's not going to be easy. During his attempts to leave, he finds others who are in the same predicament and they form a group to escape Forgotten Destination, but it's not going to be easy.
