Can Freddie the Fly stop his friend, Stella the Stinkbug, from turning every inconvenience and problem into a messy and overly dramatic ordeal?
Stella has a habit of totally bugging out and making a big stink when problems "" big, small and in between "" get in her way. When she's denied the first spot in line, she flies into a destructive frenzy. When her milk spills in the lunchroom, she comes completely unglued. She even turns red and has a tizzy when someone uses her yellow crayon. Stella simply has no sense of proportion. She reacts the same way to any problem, which makes every situation bigger, louder and crazier.
In the pages of Freddie and Friends: Bugging Out, young readers discover that not all problems are equal. Some can be solved with little effort and no help. Some require an adult's attention. And others are not problems at all. Knowing how to respond appropriately is an excellent lesson for K-6 students!
