Reminiscence Writing
Recounting memories leading up to or following the loss of a dear one reminds us of ways that person touched our lives. While reminiscing, it is amazing how one can find glimpses of tenderness, joy, and happiness in the hardest of times.
The goal of my storytelling about those I've loved and lost is to share some aspect of who they were, how they shaped my life, and ultimately, comfort me-and others-during times of loss.
