Ossabaw and Sapelo Islands are remote islands off the Georgia coast. Both are mostly state owned and neither have bridges connecting them to the mainland. As my friend and co-worker, Noel, used to always say, "An island is a body of land surrounded by the necessity of a boat." These are true stories of living and surviving there, from a single dad raising a son to making explosions, to meeting the girl of my dreams.
