Denise Dowling Mortensen is also the author of the picture books Wake Up Engines, Bug Patrol, and Cowpoke Clyde and the Dirty Dog. She lives in Chatham, New Jersey, with her family.
Melissa Iwai has illustrated many books for children, including Gramps and the Fire Dragon. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her family.
