Dallin wishes his grandparents were cool like his friends' grandparents. He learns on a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's house that there is more to their birthday gift than meets the eye. The pumpkin seeds are special and have a connection to the past. Something special happens in the pumpkin patch to connect him to his grandparents that he will never forget.
