Green and blue striped stud earrings with hints of purple in a small disc shape. Each measures right around 10mm in diameter. I am fairly certain that I owned these earrings in 1982.
I was 8 with newly pierced ears. They just remind me of that era & since these plastic components were originally made during that era, it's likely so.
Earrings are made with vintage lucite parts that were made in Rhode Island in the 1960's - early 80's by Best Plastics. I hand-set them with surgical steel earring posts and they have sturdy surgical steel/acrylic backings on them as well. Light-weight & fun to wear.
