by Paul Elliott (Author)

Guns N' Roses emerged from Los Angeles in the 1980s with a reputation for hard-hitting music and a riotous rock & roll lifestyle that earned them the title of "The Most Dangerous Band in the World".

Their first album, 1987's Appetite For Destruction, took the music industry by storm, becoming the biggest selling debut in the history of American music. Since then, rock writer Paul Elliott has interviewed the band many times, and he brings real insight to this updated exploration of the group; its music; its success; its struggles.

With more than 200 stunning colour photographs from the band's 40-year career, this comprehensive biography is the complete, incredible story of one of the hardest-rocking bands in music history.
