Author Biography
Dr. Ryan Moore is a pediatric cardiologist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and works everyday with the digital artists in the Media Lab. He loves art and is always looking for new and exciting ways to use it to teach even his youngest patients about the wonders of the body - especially, the heart! Jeff Cimprich is a Medical Artist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and professional member with the Association for Medical Illustrators. His passion is in medical education through animation and illustration. You can find most of his animation work on Cincinnati Children's Youtube channel. Dr. John Hutton is a pediatrician and researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Health, Dallas, TX. He is passionate about the power of books to inspire hearts and minds by bringing grownups and children together to read, learn and connect. Matt Nelson is a Medical Artist at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Pratt Institute with a B.F.A. in Digital Arts. He has created many animations: VR and AR applications and video games, but Hank the Heart will be his first children's book. Cat Musgrove grew up in Northern Virginia, and has a B.F.A. in Computer Animation from the Ringling School of Art & Design in Sarasota, FL. She worked in video games for 10 years; and currently works at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as a Medical Animator.
