Tsuyoshi Takaki published his first one-shot, "Freaks," in Jump SQ Crown in Japan in 2016, and later that same year created the series Black Torch, available in North America from VIZ Media. His next series, Heart Gear, began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in 2019.
