Heartfelt Prayers of Thanks and Hope is intended to help the Christian community cope with and successfully overcome the problems of everyday living through interaction with our Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God himself. It features a wide range of categories to include one and all: Childhood, Despair, Education, Faith, Growing Up, Hope, Loneliness, Peace, Progress, Seasons, and Thanks. Each category contains three to five personal invocations to uplift one's spirit and return to a life of peace and happiness. The prayers are calming, peaceful, and very embracing.
Author Biography
John H. Garot earned a BA degree at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and an MA degree at Arizona State University. Following, he joined the military for two years in the Vietnam era, and then taught secondary school. Later, Garot launched a career in industry with the Miller Brewing Company, the Outboard Marine Corporation, and Motorola and Motorola Cellular, specializing in advertising, sales promotion, and PR. In retirement, he returned to teaching at the college level, and is now an associate professor.
