Hudson, a laidback, white Labradoodle who wears a fedora, tours his neighborhood each day in his navy, blue SUV with his human mommy. They visit friends, enjoy their company, and find adventure in many different ways. One day, Hudson receives a dog call from his good friends, Carl and Abby. Carl is a big, gentle giant Catahoula Hound who lives with his nervous ninny sister Abby, a brown shepherd. They are upset and in a state of complete fear and dread. They believe a sea monster has taken up residence in their owners' swimming pool. The monster chases them in and out of their pool every single day. They've had enough. Carl and Abby are confident that Hudson, who is smart and knows everything, can help them with their problem. Indeed, Hudson solves the mystery of the swimming pool sea monster.
