God was 'humanised' through the Incarnation, and through the cross, a roadblock was placed on humanity's road to destruction. In the middle chapters, there are some fresh perspectives on Judas, Peter and Cornelius, suggesting that salvation is much more to do with a call to join a movement; a movement to work for the restoration of humanity, than a ticket to heaven. .....

They are certainly not the final word, but are intended to open possibilities beyond a theology that selects a narrow set of 'proof-texts' (while ignoring others).
