When tragedy crashes over you and completely turns your life upside down, where else can you turn, but to our Heavenly Father? My hope is that you give this book a try even if you don't have a relationship with God, because I didn't either for a very long time. I had to hit the deepest depth of rock bottom before I started looking up. I've suffered through addictions, abuse, coping with the grief of a special needs child, to tragically losing my oldest son overnight. I wish I didn't have a story so heartbreaking to tell... But there's been a desire placed on my heart to tell my testimony in hopes to help someone else who've experienced the same trials. We can always find purpose for our pain if we have the Correct Tour Guide.
Author Biography
Growing up the daughter of a minister, you'd think I'd have had a more meaningful relationship with God. But I resented spending so much time in church, and as like so many, I strayed in my young adult life. Got caught up with the wrong crowd. Struggled with addictions and an abusive relationship for a number of years and all the terrible decisions that came along with it. Through it all, from at an early age, I felt a strong connection with the spiritual side. Always felt I could sense when tragedy was going to strike. After feeling like God abandoned me, I turned my back on Him for a number of years. Until the unimaginable happened, and I had no where else to turn, but to Him.
