Author Biography
Dorothea DePrisco Wang has always wanted to be involved in children's books, whether writing or publishing them. After majoring in English Writing, she worked for Scholastic for 8 years before turning to writing freelance and becoming a high school teacher. Since then, Dorothea became the editorial director, then vice president and publisher at Intervisual Books.
Canadian-born illustrator Claudine Gevry spent a short time designing for television after receiving her BA degree from the University of Quebec, but decided after a few years to return to her first love, illustration. Her work is inspired by her adventure-packed travels around the globe.
