Author Biography
Dirk Booysen was educated at the Monument High School Krugersdorp, Witwatersrand Technicon (Johannesburg), Institute of Optometry (London), Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Philadelphia), New England College of Optometry (Boston), and Aston University (Birmingham). He practices full scope optometry in Krugersdorp and lectures on contact lens practice in the School of Optometry at University of Johannesburg. He is married to Sarah Leigh, and they have two children, Meagan and John Leslie. In his spare time, Dirk enjoys restoring and flying vintage aircrafts.
