Ye Zicheng, professor of international politics and chairman of the Academic Committee in the School of International Studies at Peking University in China, is the author of numerous influential books, including Opening to the Outside World and China's Modernization, Geopolitics and Chinese Diplomacy, and New China's Diplomatic Thought: From Mao Zedong to Deng Xiaoping.
