There were about 600 American sailors on the 39 PT Boats that formed a scouting and intercept line at Surigao Strait on Oct 24-25 1944. The book tells about the boats, the crews, and the battle. It includes descriptions from the official Action Reports as well as quotations from the participants along with personal details and crew member photos that are not covered in other stories about the battle.
