How to use this book
-This book has over 500 questions for the ISEE Upper Math Test.
-There are 21 sets containing 25 questions each.
-Each set should be done in 25 minutes.
-Try to set aside a period of 30-60 minutes each day and do one or two tests.
-Short periods of regular study are more effective than long irregular sessions.
-Make a note of the questions you get wrong, and revise them with the help of the Answers and Explanations given at the end of each section.

Tips for taking the tests
- Since the tests are timed, you should not spend too much time on any one question.
Just focus on what you can do.
- If you can eliminate at least one option, you should make an educated guessfrom the remaining choices.
On the ISEE, there is no negative marking!
- You are NOT allowed to use a calculator.
- Ensure that you read the instructions carefully, e.g. sometimes the questions are long winded and you may need to read carefully to identify what the question is asking for.
- After the test, make sure that you go through ALL the questions, even the ones that you answer correctly, and ensure that you understand the concepts tested.
