Teaching in schools and colleges, worldwide travel, performing with well-known gospel and jazz artists, performing with local jazz artists, symphonies, concert bands, and holding public office on a college board has added up to becoming a part of who I am. My provocative observations about life have come to me in the form of questions and statements over the past fifteen years. I started a diary and recorded my thoughts.
