Christianity is founded completely on two miracles - the Immaculate Conception and the Resurrection of Jesus. Mary was chosen to be the Mother of our Lord, the most precious moment in history. Mary Magdalene was chosen to reveal the "Risen Lord," the second most precious moment in history. Men were not there. Young Mary could not share her treasured moments until after Jesus rose. The entire purpose of Jesus' existence culminated on that one sovereign morning. He gave Women the unrivalled honor to "GO and TELL," to proclaim His Resurrection, a privilege reserved for Women Only. Then Women shattered the silence. Jesus could just as easily have appeared to Peter when he arrived at the tomb, but clearly and deliberately He did not. The men had to walk 100 miles to see Him. Many of the Gospel records expose the men for their lack of faith and their abusive attitudes towards Women. Jesus constantly had to defend the Women. Our Gospels are overflowing with information that Only Women would have known about or dared to repeat. Without the Women, we Could Not have Christianity.
