Author Biography
Lee B. Croft, the author of "Kaumuali'i and the Last of Hawaii's God Kings" is a teacher, scholar, and Professor Emeritus of the Russian Language and Culture at Arizona State University, where he taught and administered language programs for thirty-eight years. He is the author of 16 books and over 300 scholarly articles, translations, and reviews, several of which involve the relation of Hawaiian history. He has been a part-time resident of Hawaii (O'ahu and Kaua'i) for more than thirty years and is an associate of Kaua'i's "Friends of King Kaumuali'i."
