Knitting paper for designing knitting charts for new patterns. This grid uses rectangular spaces instead of square ones as they are the real shape of knitting stitches. With the 4:5 ratio, 4 stitches measure the same length as 5 rows so 40 stitches = 50 rows.
If you knit with very thick yarn or knitting double, you may prefer to use paper with the 2:3 ratio.
