Basil Lanneau Gildersleeve (1831-1924) was an American Classical Scholar and founder of the American Journal of Philology.
Gonzalez Lodge (1863-1942) was Professor of Latin at Bryn Mawr college and later Professor of Latin and Greek at the Teachers College, Columbia
