It also places this state of enlightenment in the context of the various states of enlightenment one may progress through on the spiritual journey. The part Kundalini plays in this progress is clearly explained as well as how to work with kundalini in simple but powerful kriya meditations. The nature of kundalini and how it will eventually return to its source: The absolute Self, is also clarified. Furthermore the classic yogic text: Patanjali's Yoga Sutras is translated and commented upon. Also the three tantric classics: Pratyabhijnahridayam, Spanda Karikas and Vijnanabhairava are translated and commented upon. Jan Esmann shortly describes his own amazing journey and how he became a siddha capable of giving the rare shaktipat initiation, which places the receiver of shaktipat on a spontaneous and automatic path towards enlightenment. Author Biography
Born 1960. Jan has meditated intensely since he was a young teenager. He has an MA in history of modern culture from Copenhagen University and also a BA. and a B.Sc from The Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen. He is a professional artist and software developer, as well as being a spiritual teacher conducting 3-day shaktipat intensives around the world.
