Author Biography
Katina served ten years in the United States military where she managed millions of dollars of government funding. In the private sector she held numerous accounting positions before settling in the Chief Financial Officer position of a multi-million dollar manufacturing company. In 2003 Katina began expanding her knowledge into personal financial advising, which quickly became her passion. She has helped countless families with their finances and has held numerous seminars on sound financial planning. This book was born from her acclaimed teen seminars. The goal of this book is to educate teens so they can avoid the common mistakes made when managing money. Katina has a Bachelor in Business Administration from California Baptist University and a FINRA Series 6 and 63 Securities license. She resides in California with her husband and two children.
