by Casimir Valla (Translator), Emil Neubert (Author)
When Fr. Emil Neubert wrote a book on devotion to Mary, St. Maximilian Kolbe paid close attention.
That's because Fr. Neubert was an expert in explaining the secret devotion to Mary which the Holy Spirit revealed to St. Louis de Montfort.
You'll remember St. Louis wrote...
"Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit" ("The Secret of Mary", #1).
This is the only book completely dedicated to showing Catholic teachers how to use this secret for the benefit of yourself and your students.
St. Maximilian Kolbe was so impressed with Fr. Neubert's books that he struck up a friendship with him, translated one of his books, and encouraged everyone to read his books.
He said to his fellow Franciscans about Fr. Neubert: "He has the exact same spirit as we have."
He also told them, "The devotion taught by Blessed Grignion (St. Louis de Montfort) is ours exactly."
In other words, he told them St. Louis and Fr. Neubert taught the exact same devotion to Mary.
Now, as surprising as it may sound, Jesus needs you and your students to know how to use this secret devotion to Mary, because of the souls He wants to save through you and your students.
Your reading about this proves you're not like most people.
Here's why...
God says...
"The perverse are hard to be corrected, and the number of fools is infinite" (Eccles. 1:15).
That means God can't count on most people to use good judgment in their own best interest, especially when it comes to their own salvation.
Jesus confirmed this when He warned...
"How narrow is the gate and constricted is the way that leads to life. And few there are who find it!" (Mt. 7:13-14)
The fact that you're reading about a book which shows Catholic teachers how to use the Marian devotion which God revealed proves you are NOT among that infinite number of fools.
That's why you're well-qualified to help Jesus and Mary save souls, and to show your students how to do the same.
As you know, Jesus said, "The Son of man is come to save that which was lost" (Mt. 18:11).
And even though He assures you...
"For without Me you can do nothing" (Jn. 15:5)...
He has willed not to save souls without you and your child.
That's why Pope Pius XII wrote...
"Because Christ the Head holds such an eminent position, one must not think that He does not require the help of the Body. Yet this, also, must be held, marvelous though it may seem: Christ has need of His members. Moreover, as our Savior does not rule the Church directly in a visible manner, He wills to be helped by the members of His Body in carrying out the work of redemption.
"That is not because He is indigent and weak, but rather because He has so willed it for the greater glory of His spotless Spouse" (Mystici Corporis, #44).
Our Lady insisted at Fatima that the situation will only get worse if you don't help Jesus save souls...
"Pray, pray much, and sacrifice for sinners, for many souls go to hell because there is no one to sacrifice and pray for them."
The fact is, you and your students have tremendously important roles to play in the salvation of souls.
And because Our Lady says souls urgently need help, and because Jesus can't count on most people to help Him save them, I have to ask, can Jesus and Mary count on you to use this devotion to Mary for yourself and your students, so they can save souls through you?
You must help Jesus and Mary now, because, as Our Lady said at Fatima, time runs out for many souls every day.
Because St. Maximilian Kolbe encouraged everyone to read Fr. Neubert's Marian books, why don't you give this book a try?
