This narrative focuses on the Sailo chiefs from their controversial origin as illegitimate heirs to contenders of every hill in Mizoram, a band of brothers who claimed dominance over the crags only to be consumed by greed and power, leading to a bloody civil war, ended only by the advent of the British colonials and an enemy they could not comprehend.
