Mr. Sprinkles
Mr. Sprinkles was the best dog anyone could ever ask for. Each day was a fun adventure. One day Mr. Sprinkles got sick and passed away. This made the young boy very sad.
A child's first experience of death is your first opportunity to teach them about coping with the grief and pain. Each person deals with grief differently, but it is important to find ways to help your child get through the grieving process.
Mr. Sprinkles assures youngsters that no matter how badly they feel when they lose a pet, in time their hurt will ease, and they will be able to remember with fondness and the happiness they shared and that our pets always love us, no matter what. Also, our pets are never really gone, because they are always in our thoughts and in our heart.
Also, we have included activities at the end of this book that help children cope with the loss of their pet.
