Author Biography
Laura Dreuth Zeman, LCSW, Ph.D. spent over 30 years in social work as a professor, researcher, and practitioner. She published more than 40 articles and has presented research findings related to mental illness and developmental disabilities at numerous conferences. She drew on her experience as a researcher, social worker and a parent to develop this workbook. She is a parent to someone who lives with challenges related to mental illness and developmental disabilities. She is committed to helping people who live with symptoms of mental illness build their capacity to practice self-care.
