In today's climate, too many children are facing decisions no one should ever have to face, but certainly not children. All children need to know is that they are loved and valued. As parents, we should be actively working to eliminate as much sadness and confusion from our children's lives as possible; while helping them to understand that it's their job to just live for the moment, enjoy being a child, carefree, where possible, learning to play games, sports, dance, sing or tell stories and etc. Gender, and its ilk, shouldn't even be a topic for little children to consider
