I took a year off social media.

I did this because I wanted to gain perspective on how this phenomenon was defining me, as well as the people around me. As a pastor, I also took this time to develop a gospel-centered understanding of social media for everyday Christians experiencing its pitfalls.

Social media has created great opportunities, but also significant tensions. Despite widespread adoption of these platforms, many people don't know how to use these tools in a beneficial and healthy way. Only the gospel can help us navigate the digital sea of social media so that we can preserve its potential benefits, while avoiding its tremendous hazards.
