by Reginald C. Kimbro (Author)
Not As A Thief is a brief but direct study of the Rapture question within Premillennial interpretation. It calls into question the viewpoint of the end times depicted in the popular "Left Behind" series. The writer holds to the Historic Premillennial viewpoint of Christian prophecy. One of the key features of the book is an attempt to frame the debate over the timing of the Rapture in a simple light. All of the theories about the Rapture except the post-tribulational must supply evidence for two future comings of Christ. A major portion of this book scrutinizes the suggested evidence for the additional coming and finds it lacking. Originally written as a research thesis for the MTh degree, the present book has been altered and enlarged in order to appeal to a wider audience.
