Omega Psi Phi was founded on November 17, 1911, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Omega Psi Phi is the first African-American national fraternal organization founded at a historically black university. Since the beginning Omega Psi Phi has been a strong and virile force for the uplift of African Americans and all of humanity.
