He is the author of more than twenty books, including \u003ci\u003eSpiritual Caregiving as Secular Sacrament, The Soul of Ministry, Self Care, Living the Spiritually Balanced Life\u003c\/i\u003e, and \u003ci\u003eDancing with Wolves While Feeding the Sheep: The Musings of a Maverick Theologian\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e Dr. Dennis B. Guernsey had long been a prominent teacher and writer in the field of Christian families. With a PhD in psychology and being an ordained minister, he founded the Marriage and Family Counseling Department at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
