Author Biography
With ancestral roots from Greece and Macedonia (via Medieval Spain), American-born Sarah Aroeste works to preserve Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) culture for a new audience. An international composer and performer, and now children's book author, Aroeste has released several Ladino recordings combining traditional Mediterranean Sephardic flavors with her signature contemporary style.
