Author Biography
I sat down two years ago on a mission to fulfill a promise made to my grandmother. Armed with her journal, family letters, and other personal effects, I began to pen Parachute Girls. The story is based loosely on her real life experiences. Grandma was born in England, where she lived during WWII. Her life and story were amazing to me as a child. When I became a published author I knew that while it would be difficult- I would some day sit down and chronicle her experiences. Having lost grandma before its release, this story was a work of passion and tears- the hardest thing I've ever written to date. I believe grandma would have been pleased with how it turned out. We even traveled in the fall of 2000 to retrace the past and celebrate the future. I will forever cherish those days spent with family in Wigan and Manchester. I hope you enjoy her story. It is my hope that it will touch every reader in a unique and special way. Jenny
