Author Biography
J.D. Gwamna is a Professor in the Department of Religious Studies, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He specializes in New Testament, Contextual Theology, and Religion and Conflict in Nigeria. Among his books are Perspectives in African Theology and Religion and Politics in Nigeria. A member of the Nigerian Association for the Study of Religions, he is Chairman of the Nigerian Association for Biblical Studies (NABIS), a Member, Society for Biblical Literature (SBL) and Fellow, Academy of Religion (far), Biblical Literature (SBL) and Fellow, Academy of Religion (far). He is a versatile scholar who has published locally and internationally. He is the current Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Nasarawa State University, and Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Bingham University, Karu.
