Adorable dogs sincerely ask the reader to "Please love me like I love you" in this little one's guide to love and kindness toward their dog.
Each dog expresses a "don't do" action that could hurt the dog and then gives a reason why they unconditionally love the child instead. For example: "Don't pull my ears. That hurts Oh My " with a corresponding drawing that addresses the action on the facing page with "Your voice is so special to me like a sweet lullaby".
There is also a feature asking the child to find a heart on every page.
All the drawings are all in original watercolor that represent different breeds as well as mutts. A must read for little ones from 15 months to 5 years old.
