Timothy Tarkelly is a teacher, debate coach, activist, and poet from Southeast Kansas.

He's authored several collections of poetry including Gently In Manner, Strongly In Deed: Poems On Eisenhower (2019), On Slip Rigs and Spiritual Growth (2021), Ordering Dumplings With Bitcoin (2022). Most recently, he collaborated with the artist Elena Samarsky on a collaborative work entitled, All Other Forms of Expression from OAC Books. When he's not writing and campaigning, he's getting skunked at the lake and teaching students who are far more talented than he will ever be.
