Previously, Dr. Rozanov served as the head of the same department and worked in the electrical industry in various positions ranging from engineer to deputy chief designer. He has authored seven books and more than 160 articles and 24 patents, been awarded the prestigious title of Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, and won the Government of the Russian Federation Award in the fields of science (2001) and education (2005).
