In the 21st Century and in a representative form of government, we as American Christians must appeal to "We the People." Our appeal, to our fellow citizens, government officials, and people of faith, is not a call to arms "to take our nation back." Our call is to prayerfully and humbly to turn to God, seek his guidance, protection, and correction to heal our land. "What can I do?" Proverbs and Politics is a solid instructional manual for those calling on God's promise given in 2 Chron. 7:14: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Wisdom calls out from the highest points of the cities to the center of commerce and the public square. We must welcome it and discern how to impart it to every area of life. How will you answer Wisdom's call?
