She worked in the Birmingham Public School System for 35 years as a Classroom teacher, resource assistant, parent educator, and Coordinator of various programs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eShe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Tuskegee University and Miles College, a Master of Education degree plus an Education Specialist degree from Alabama State University.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCarnella enjoys her morning walks, writing, solving number fill-in puzzles, and spending time with her family.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHer love for writing and her background in education led her to pen a book for children about love. She was also inspired by her concern about the lack of the expression of pure love by humans for each other. She believes that children should be taught early in life about pure love and the joy of experiencing it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCarnella has been married to Luther for 51 years.
