Stephen Vasciannie, a Professor at the University of the West Indies, has been a coach of theKingston College Schools' Challenge Quiz team since 1994. Many of the questions in this compilation are, therefore, set at the level of the TVJ Schools' Challenge Quiz and should help both quiz participants and students persuing studies for the CXC and "A" Levels. Dr. Vasciannie is an Attorney-at-law and has written a weekly column on local and international affairs for the Daily Gleaner since 1996.
