Rebecca Kai Dotlich is the author of many picture books for young readers, including What is Science? and What Can a Crane Pick Up? She lives in Indiana with her husband.
Michael Slack is the author of Monkey Truck, Elecopter and Turtle Tug to the Rescue!. He is an artist and graphic designer whose work has been featured in various forms, including books, comics, television, and games, most notably Cruddy Creeps. He lives in Lafayette, California.
