This is a chronicle of Czech "Do-It-Yourself" scene seen through its most popular festival, Czechtek. One chapter of this book corresponds to one year of teknival and has fixed structure. It starts with the basic data (event name, date, place, number of participants, number of soundsystems, land, police participation and media coverage), followed by flyer, map and photos. Years 2002 - 2006 include a link to interactive map on Internet, where all the soundsystems and stages are documented. At the end of every chapter there is a link to corresponding web photo galleries with more documentation.I would like to dedicate this book to Czech "Do-It-Yourself" or "Freetekno" community as a reminder of its best every-year event.We wish you a pleasant viewing of our common memories : )
