Sarees are a topic of love for many. To me, they are way more than mere garments - they trigger memories of events and of people, they evoke emotions. They are an integral part not just of my physical memory, but also my emotional memory. My attempt in this book is to give a voice to these memories, share these stories, and while doing so, also share what I discovered about these sarees, their distinctive features and their interesting history.
