James DeMarco became a goaltender at age five... and to this day, loves every minute of it! "An off day in goal usually means a good Small Saves cartoon is in the making." To be honest, I just love being a goalie. There's no place I'd rather be than in my net, blocking slap shots and feeling that ice under my skates. I think my passion for puck stopping comes through with my cartoons. I feel goalies and hockey players can relate to (and have a few laughs over) Small Saves and his unique perspective on life between the pipes.
