One involves a Mafia hitman, sent to kill three Grand Strand residents, all thought to be in the Witness Protection Program. But that is not the case. When the hitman finds one of his targets, a bloodbath occurs, which leads the FBI to relocate the remaining targets, hoping the assassin will leave town. But one target is not in Witness Protection. The hitman is still in town hunting an unknown prey. Meanwhile, authorities baffled by a series of supposedly unrelated killings and unable to pinpoint any link between the victims, ask the FBI to join the case. On a visit to the morgue, Ron is unknowingly handed an object that links all the murders. When a cop is murdered and a similar object is found, the link is realized. What isn't known, someone is both a target of those wanting justice, and of those wanting revenge.
